These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our cleaning services. By booking or using our services, you agree to comply with them.
1. Definitions
“Company” refers to Magik Hanz
“Client” refers to any person or entity using the services of the Company. “Cleaner” refers to any employee or subcontractor providing cleaning services on behalf of the Company. “Services” refer to all cleaning tasks performed by the Company as agreed with the Client.
2. Services Provided
The Company provides domestic and office cleaning services, including but not limited to basic cleaning, deep cleaning, end-of-tenancy cleaning, and other agreed-upon services. All services will be carried out professionally, and the Company will endeavour to meet any specific requirements requested by the Client.
3. Booking and Cancellation
Bookings can be made via our website, contact form, or email. Clients must provide at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a cleaning appointment.
Please note that cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
Any cancellation with more than 48 hours ' notice will incur a 10% fee.
The Company reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a service in the event of unforeseen circumstances, such as illness or emergencies. In such cases, the Client will be notified promptly, and alternative arrangements will be made to ensure the service is provided on the same day or another suitable date.
4. Pricing and Payment
Magik Hanz charges for services based on hourly rates or fixed prices, depending on the type of service. All prices include VAT unless otherwise stated. Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing. Magik Hanz accepts cash, bank transfers, or credit/debit card payments. A late payment fee of £10 may be applied for overdue invoices beyond seven days.
5. Access to Premises
The Client must provide access to the premises at the agreed time. If the Cleaner cannot gain access, a cancellation fee of 50% of the service fee will be charged. If the Client is not present during the cleaning service, arrangements must be made for keys or security access. The Company is not responsible for any damage or loss resulting from access arrangements.
6. Liability and Insurance
Magik Hanz is insured for public liability and damage to property. In the event of any damage or loss caused by a Cleaner, the Client must report it within 24 hours of the service. The Company is not liable for any pre-existing damages or items of sentimental or monetary value.
7. Health and Safety
The Company reserves the right to refuse service if the premises are deemed unsafe or unsanitary. Clients must ensure that the premises are safe and free from hazards, such as loose wires, unstable furniture, or harmful substances.
8. Client Obligations
Clients must provide a safe working environment and access to necessary utilities (e.g., water and electricity). Clients must notify the Company of any allergies, sensitivities, or special instructions related to the cleaning products or equipment used.
9. Complaints and Claims
Any complaints regarding the quality of the service must be reported within 24 hours of the service being performed. The Company will investigate and, where necessary, arrange a re-clean or refund at its discretion.
10. Privacy Policy

11. Changes to Terms and Conditions The Company reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes via email or our website.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed under the laws of England and Wales.
